Most EU Hospitals struggle with the adoption of advanced interoperability standards, because their vendors are not supporting FHIR or their staff and culture need to improve. While SDOs are in charge of promoting standards among industries, the final users are not aware of new standards features and capabilities.
The goal of Hospitals on FHIR is centered in Hospitals' final users’ perspective, who are in need to both improve the knowledge of advanced standards and define a strategy for adopting and customizing the FHIR interfaces to comply with their local regulations and constraints, also by sharing their experiences facing these challenges.

L'Eclozr in Rennes
September 25th, 2023
9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Why a HL7 FHIR user day ? Rennes welcomes this year the European e-health week. We believe that iin e-health, we must put forwards the end-users of FHIR : Healthcare structures, practitioner, patients.
Organized by Hospital-On-FHIR, we intend to show to those users, what can be done using FHIR and real world projects being implemented.
Showing concrete HL7 FHIR : FHIR has been very far from the preoccupations of the healthcare system end-user. To create enthusiasm and adoption, we need to show them that FHIR can be implemented in a fast and easy way to solve some real world issues.
Creating a community : Fhir is a community standard. We wish that the event can help create a FHIR user community and reinforce the french FHIR community. In order to do so, even though users are the main focus of the event, we have the participation of vendors and institutions.
